introducing what the doodle and be

Welcome to day 4 of the Papertrey Ink February release countdown and 9th anniversary festivities! Today I have a few projects to share using the new What the Doodle set and one of my new sets called Be that debuts this month.

What the Doodle features this great coloring book style butterfly. I embossed the butterfly and some other elements from the set onto watercolor paper and then used my Clean Color markers to do some watercolor over the top.

The "be yourself" sentiment on the card is from my new Be set. The set includes the larger "be" word and then lots of coordinating words to send inspirational messages on your cards, add journaling to your scrapbooks, or even for stamping in your planner. I embossed the sentiment in clear on this card, like I did for the butterflies, and then added watercolor around it.

The Be set retails for $15 and there are coordinating die cuts available as well.

Here's another card that is created with my new Be set. There are some great brushstroke style flowers included in the set and I used some of them here to create a fun multicolored floral background.

I used the coordinating "be" die cut to cut out the word from white cardstock and then stamped the "happy" next to it in True Black ink. I love the bright and cheerful feel of this card - it' perfect for sending a little sunshine to a loved one.
