papertrey ink february release wrap up

IMG_5043

It's release day at Papertrey Ink - look at that pile of projects from the last week and a half! All of the new stamp sets and products that the design team have been sharing during the February release countdown & 9th anniversary festivities will be available to purchase tonight, February 15th, 10PM ET at Papertrey Ink.

Today I have the rest of my projects for this February release to share with you...

Here's a sweet little card that is perfect for Easter that I created with the new Simply Spring Borders set. I couldn't resist that row of bunnies! I stamped them on kraft cardstock and then watercolored them with some Classic Kraft ink refill. Their tails are done with a white gel pen and then I stamped the grass and flowers underneath them.

The sentiment is from the new Keep it Simple: Easter set that I stamped on a Keep it Simple Frames die.

I put together this card using the new Keep it Simple: St. Patrick's Day set. There isn't a whole lot as far as St. Patrick's themed sets, so I stamped up some shamrocks using the stem from my new Be set and a heart image from the XOXO set.

I love how they turned out! I keep this card clean and simple and add just a strip of some Simply Chartreuse striped pattern paper down the left edge of the card front.

This card is done with the new Paper Clippings: Happy Day set and coordinating die. I actually die cut the white adhesive paper sheet and watercolored the stems and leaves in Spring Moss and Berry Sorbet. The what adhesive sheet paper is very light, so if you try this be patient and careful when adhering it to the card. Also make sure your watercolor is completely dry before you try to manipulate it to attach it to your project. Or it will tear.

I stamped a few extra flowers on Berry Sorbet cardstock with Berry Sorbet ink and scattered them around on the card - so pretty!

I had fun playing with the new Peonies on Parade watercolor sheets for this card. I watercolored the flowers using my Clean Color markers.

The sentiment I used is from the Graceful Greetings set and I added a kraft cardstock edge that I stamped with the Background Basics: Medallions set in Vintage Cream.

And finally, here is a card that I created with one of the What the Doodle: Butterfly watercolor sheets. I am really excited about having images already printed and ready to paint on watercolor paper. This will be something great for crafting on the go!

The sentiment on the card is created with my new Be set. I die cut the "be" in True Black cardstock and then added the words embossed in white on True Black cardstock. Polka dotted washi tape was the perfect accent for this card!
