introducing dress up dolls

Welcome to day 2 of the Papertrey Ink February release countdown and 9th anniversary festivities! Today we are introducing a new series by Betsy Veldman call Dress Up Dolls. How much fun is this going to be?

I used both the Dress Up Dolls: Basics and Dress Up Dolls: Easter to put together this little magnetic paper doll set. I made the little doll to look like my Tacy with her glasses and blonde hair and I think my plan with this series is going to be to build her little magnetic doll collection for her each month!

How sweet are the little outfits to dress up the doll? I stamped a little heart t-shirt, some jeans, and some cute little shoes. Everything is stamped on an adhesive sheet and then cut out with the coordinating dies and applied to the magnetic sheets that are also cut out with the coordinating dies. They store perfectly in the metal CD case.

To do the coloring for this project, I drug out my Prismacolor pencils. It has been so long since I used them and I really enjoyed it! Isn't this bunny outfit the cutest?

I just had to make an Easter card with the bunny outfit! I stamped and die cut out the pieces from white cardstock, colored the images with colored pencils, and then assembled the pieces together. The background of the card is stamped with images in Fresh Snow ink from a new set of mine called Bunny Basket that I will share more about a little later in the countdown.

The "happy easter" sentiment is from the Dress Up Dolls: Easter set and the added the "some bunny loves you" sentiment from the Bunny Basket set underneath.
