First of all, can I say that looking at the numbers on these two birthday cards for my girls is a little shocking? How are they growing up so fast???

New birthday products debuting always gives me such a great chance to create some special cards for family members. My girls birthdays are coming up in the next few months and it was so much fun to create these cupcake cards that look sweet enough to eat for them.

Hana is turning 13 and I made her a yummy chocolate cupcake with sprinkles to celebrate. The Shape Up Series: Cupcake dies are a go to, must have die for creating these sweet cards. The sprinkles on the cupcake are from the new Sprinkles on Top set. I stamped them with Versamark ink on the Dark Chocolate cupcake and embossed them with clear embossing powder.

I added the sentiment using the Good Times set and coordinating dies. And how cute are the birthday candles on the top of the cupcake? They are the new Big Birthday Candles dies and I glittered them up for an extra special touch.

Tacy is turning 16 (16!) and I made her a sweet frosted cupcake card. The frosting on the cupcake is created with the new Frosted Border dies. I layered them onto the cupcake and then just trimmed the edges to match the shape of the card. The "wish big" sentiment is also from the Good Times set and coordinating dies and I glittered her up some birthday candles too.

I can't wait to give these to my girls for their special day. The personalization and extra details makes these even extra sweet!

Here's a sweet card that I created with the new Just Desserts set. How cute is this layered cake? I stamped the cake base in Fresh Snow on kraft cardstock and then added some Berry Sorbet frosting. This is quick and easy stamping and you can whip up a great card to celebrate in no time!

The little polka dots around the cake are actually a flower center from the Fancy Folk Art set that was still on my desk from the senior design team challenge post. It was the perfect thing to sprinkle on this card! I also added a Berry Sorbet felt border on the card edge and it is such a sweet detail on this card.
