hoopla stitching collection & more

It's day 5 of the Papertrey Ink April release countdown! Today is a group post day and we are all sharing projects stitched up with the new Hoopla Stitching dies and more.

All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on April 15th, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.

Embroidery hoop art is so on trend right now and I love that there are some great new dies to help make creating a customized piece very easy to do. I decided to put together a cute little rainbow hoop for my daughter Tacy's room. She just loves rainbows and so I knew I wanted to use those dies to create her hoop.

I cut a base with the largest Stitched Circle die and then added the rainbow pieces onto that. For the rainbow I used Pure Poppy, Orange Zest, Summer Sunrise, and Hawaiian Shores and then Winter White for the clouds. I like to use the full 6 strands of the embroidery floss when I do a stitching project.

The best part was the new Tiny Stitched Alphabet dies to add her name perfectly right below the rainbow. I just lined up the alphabet dies right onto the felt, ran it through my die cut machine, and then stitched her name right up with some embroidery floss.

I used some of the hearts from the Stitched Smile Cloud dies and sprinkled them across the clouds.

I used a 6" hoop for this project and so I added some red fabric behind the felt piece to make it fit that size. I backed the red fabric with some interfacing and then ran it through my die cut machine with the largest Stitched Circle Holes die. The embroidered felt rainbow circle fit perfectly on top. I stitched it down and then put the piece into the frame. It really is so easy to put together and the time you take stitching up all the details is absolutely worth it.
