It's release day at Papertrey InkAll of the new stamp sets and products that the design team have been sharing during the April release countdown will be available to purchase tonight, April 15th, 10PM ET at Papertrey Ink.

Today I have the rest of my projects for this April release to share with you...

First up is a card created with the new What the Doodle: Apple set. I took the smaller apple in the set and embossed it in white on vellum, die cut with the coordinating die, and layered over wither Pure Poppy or Simply Chartreuse cardstock. I took a bunch of these apples and lined them up around the edge of the kraft cardstock card front.

The sentiment is also embossed with white on True Black cardstock that is die cut with the the Treat Box Tag die. This card is just perfect to send gratitude to a teacher, but it also works to send to just about anyone too.

Speaking of teachers and school, this month's outfit for Tacy's magnetic paper doll is the cute school uniform from the new Dress Up Dolls: School Days set. I am coloring all of the outfits for her collection with colored pencils that are blended with odorless mineral spirits (Gamsol.) I really love how this little set is growing each month!

Next up is this Get Well card using the new Splits: Get Well Soon set and coordinating die cut. I embossed the sentiment and image on kraft cardstock with white embossing powder and cut stout with the die cut. The die doesn't catch every detail of the image, so I stamped that in True Black ink onto some Sheer Basics vellum and then layered the embossed piece over the top to complete the image.

The background paper is stamped with rain drops from the Rainy Day Sentiments set in Spring Rain and Blueberry Sky inks.

Here's this month's Paper Clippings set - Paper Clippings: Thank You. I adore the flowers and birds that are a part of the die cut piece and then you have the option to stamp and die cut them separate too.

I added the "for your kindness" at the bottom of the die cut piece on a kraft Double Ended Banners die cut.

And finally, a card that is created with the new Friendship Jar Flowers and Bold & Beautiful sets.

I embossed the sentiment in clear on watercolor paper and then stamped the images over the top of the embossed sentiment. Wherever the sentiment is embossed, it resists the dye based ink that I stamped over the top of it.

I spritzed the stamps with water before stamping them onto the cardstock for a watercolor look. There's a peek of the new color this month in the bouquet: Amethyst Allure. It's such a pretty purple color.

One more little thing before I go...
