papertrey ink may release wrap up

IMG_6495

It's release day at Papertrey InkAll of the new stamp sets and products that the design team have been sharing during the May release countdown will be available to purchase tonight, May 15th, 10PM ET at Papertrey Ink.

Today I have the rest of my projects for this May release to share with you (I was a little more kraft cardstock heavy with my projects for today as you might notice - but I LOVE it!)...

First up is a card with the new Splits: Thank You set. I stamped the image on a kraft cardstock die cut and embossed the image with clear embossing powder. I used my Clean Color markers to add color to the flowers and then stamped the sentiment in True Black. I am in love with how this image colored up - so pretty!

I layered the stamped piece onto a Limitless Layers 2 1/2" square die cut out of Sheer Basics vellum and then layered that onto a kraft card base. A bit of Dark Chocolate bakers twine was the perfect finishing touch.

For this card I used the die cut sentiment from Inspired: Praise combined with a sentiment from my new Walk By Faith set. I omitted the word "praise" from the Walk By Faith sentiment by doing a little selective inking with the help of some washi tape on the stamp when I inked it up and then added the die cut "praise".

The flowers and leaves that I arranged around the sentiment are a part of the new Garden Garland die collection. A few sequins were just right for some flower centers on the white daisies.

I used the new Sweet Dreams set to create a baby themed card. My footie pajamas and teddy bear are colored with Copic markers and then die cut to add to the kraft card base. For the sentiment on the card, I combined the "a new addition..." sentiment from the Sweet Dreams set with the Wonderful Words: Baby die cut and "welcome".

I stamped a sprinkling of stars on the kraft cardstock base with some Fresh Snow ink.

This card is created with the new Paper Clippings: Thinking of You set and coordinating dies. I did the card layout similar to the "praise" card that I shared just above. I trimmed the sentiment out of the die cut piece and attached that to the kraft cardstock base first and then added the other elements around it.

The flowers are stamped with Pure Poppy Ink onto Berry Sorbet cardstock that is die cut with the coordinating flower shapes. I stamped the leaves and sprigs peek out from behind the die cut flower pieces. The finishing touches for this card are a few sequins and some Rustic Jute button twine tied around the side of the card front.

And finally, I used one of the Sun & Surf stencils to create a sort of firework effect for this 4th of July Card. I sponged Pure Poppy and Enchanted Evening inks through the sunburst stencil and then stamped the stars from the Red, White & Blue set in Fresh Snow ink through out the stenciled firework.

The sentiment is from the new Keep it Simple: Bless the USA set. A few more sequins landed on this card too!
