introducing walk by faith
May 10, 2016
Welcome to day 1 of the Papertrey Ink May release countdown! I am so excited to have two new sets making their debut this month and today I have some cards to share with you that use one of those sets...
All of the new stamp sets and product that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on May 15th, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.
Here's the peeks that were shared of my two new sets:
Walk By Faith includes a collection of sentiments that features inspiring words of faith. It is perfect for stamping notes of encouragement and faith for yourself or for loved ones. Use them for Bible journaling, in your Moments Inked planner, or on cards, tags, and bookmarks. Walk By Faith retails for $15.
The Keep Swimming set includes a whimsical whale character to add to your stamp collection! There are so many possibilities to stamp and create cards to cheer someone on and send encouragement. Try coloring the outlined images with a variety of mediums or stamp with the solid stamps to discover all the ways you can bring this fun character to life on your projects. Keep Swimming retails for $15 and there are coordinating dies available to purchase as well. I will be sharing projects with this set a little later in the countdown...
Onto some projects to share using the Walk By Faith set...
I pulled out the Painted Petal set to create some pretty floral cards that would be perfect for the inspirational sentiments that are included in the Walk By Faith set. Painted Petals is a set that you can purchase with points earned with purchases at Papertrey Ink and it is only available for a limited time. Go here to learn more about the Painted Petals set.
The painted Petals set is just so beautiful and it was just perfect to tuck in this "Bless the Lord..." sentiment with. I stamped a garden of the pinkish red sunflowers in Berry Sorbet and Pure Poppy inks across the card. One of my favorite things to do when I stamp on kraft cardstock is to add some white details withe some Fresh Snow ink. I did that on the sunflowers and then added some little with flowers scattered throughout.
When you have images as beautiful as this, it is perfect to keep the sentiment simple and sweet and I did just that. The top edge of the card has just a bit of detail with a scalloped edge die cut with the small scallop border die.
I stamped some black-eyed susans for this next card with Summer Sunrise and Orange Zest inks. I included the "it is well with my Soul" sentiment simply stamped in True Black.
I added some stamped details with Fresh Snow ink again here and the same top border detail.
Both of these cards are just beautiful for sending some encouragement to a loved one.
You can see more new products being debuted today for the May release over at Nichole's blog. From there you can link up to other members of the design team who have new things to share with you today too!
Thank you so much for stopping by today. I will be back very soon with more to share!
