papertrey ink june release wrap up

It's release day at Papertrey Ink! All of the new stamp sets and products that the design team have been sharing during the June release countdown will be available to purchase tonight, June 15th, 10PM ET at Papertrey Ink.

Today I have the rest of my projects for this June release to share with you...

Here's a card using the new Graceful Greetings II set. There are so many mew great sentiment sets this month and I had a great time revisiting a few older sets to pair with them. I paired Graceful Greetings II with Bold Blossoms and embossed the outline flower and leave images with clear embossing powder on watercolor paper for this card.

I added color to the embossed flowers with my Clean Color markers and then put the cards together with the new Noted: Scalloped A2 and Double Up: Rectangles dies.

For this pair of cards, I paired the new Inspired: Grace set with the Friendship Jar Flowers set. For both cards, I embossed "grace" in clear and then stamped and added color with a tan Clean Color marker around it. I did some spritzing on the inked stamps with water before stamping them onto the paper so that the color would flow a bit for a more watercolored effect.

When the stamping and watercoloring was dry, I stamped the rest of the sentiment in black ink. I love the new Noted and Double-Up dies that add the stitched detail to the edge of the die cut piece. It's a simple detail that adds so much.

The new set The Skinny is just perfect to use with the notched banner style dies. I used the banner from the Tag-its: Quilted die collection to stamp the "wishing you all the best" sentiment onto.

I attached the banner to a piece of cardstock that I inked with some green inks, splattered with a little water, and then stamped with some leaves from the Meadow Greens set.

Here's my take with the new Splits: Way To Go set. This month's addition has a very modern look to it.

I embossed the main image from the set in white onto kraft cardstock and played around with creating some embossed borders. I added some color to the focal point piece along with the sentiment and a few sequins too.

And finally a card using the new Paper Clippings: Birthday set and coordinating dies. I created the card base with the new Noted: Scalloped A1 die collection in kraft cardstock and a frame in the new Pale Peony cardstock.

This was such a fun and sweet little card to put together after stamping and die cutting the cake and balloon elements. I stamped a sentiment from the new The Skinny set onto the banner die cut from the Paper Clippings: Birthday Details dies and curved it just a bit to follow the shape of the banner.
