halloween inspirations

Welcome to day 4 of the Papertrey Ink August release countdown! Today is a group post day and the whole design team is sharing projects created with new products that are perfect for Halloween inspiration. My new sets Autumn Pumpkins and Pumpkin Expressions are included in projects that I am sharing today.

All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be made available to purchase on August 15th, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.

First up is a fun Halloween card that I created with my new Autumn Pumpkins and Pumpkin Expressions sets. I stamped the outline images in True Black and then added color with the coordinating solid stamps in Orange Zest and New Leaf.

The sentiment on the card is from the Pumpkin Expressions set. I stamped the coordinating words that I used with "Halloween" onto little strips of white cardstock. The stars sprinkled around the pumpkins are a part of the new Shaped Sayings: Halloween die collection and I die cut them with the Onyx Shimmer cardstock. The shimmer cardstock was a fun element to include into my Halloween projects.

For this card, I stamped a whole row of pumpkins with just the solid portions from the Autumn Pumpkins set and then added faces with the Pumpkin Expressions set.

I decided to trim the "trick or treat" words out of the circle motif from the die that is a part of the Shaped Sayings: Halloween die collection for the sentiment on this card. I love how it turned out!

And finally, we are all sharing a project with the new Tiny Town: Spookville dies. I modified the die cuts a bit to transform the house to work in a shaker tag. Basically I did a bunch of trimming to get the front of to house to lay flat. I added a few strips for the roof and bottom edge of the house, but everything else was a part of the Tiny Town: Spookville die collection or the Tiny Town: Basics die collection. The black cardstock that you see used in this project is the Onyx Shimmer cardstock.

The sentiment at the top of the tag is stamped with the Pumpkin Expressions set onto a strip of white cardstock that I notched the end of.

I used the ghosts, spiderwebs, bats, and pumpkin die cuts as shaker elements with some clear sequins. I put everything together using the rectangle shaker box elements from the Make it Market: Shakers & Sprinkles kit. This tag was so much for to create and it is going to be so much fun for the recipient!
