papertrey ink august release wrap up
August 15, 2016
It's release day at Papertrey Ink! All of the new stamp sets and products that the design team have been sharing during the August release countdown will be available to purchase tonight, August 15th, 10PM ET at Papertrey Ink.
Today I have the rest of my projects for this August release to share with you...
This card features 3 of the new August releases: Alphabet Soup, Paper Clippings: Thankful for You, and Fancy Foliage. I stamped the Alphabet Soup stamp in the background in Fresh Snow ink on the kraft cardstock base.
I trimmed the "so thankful" from the Paper Clippings: Thankful for You die cut to use as the sentiment on the card and then added some watercolored branches from the Fancy Foliage set.
This card is perfect for fall! I stamped my own patterned paper with elements from the new Paper Clippings: Thankful for You set.
The sentiment is from the New Every Morning set. There are so many beautiful verses in that set that are not only beautiful for cards, but are perfect for Bible Journaling too. I added a few leaves that I die cut underneath the stamped sentiment.
How adorable is the sweet little fox from the new Stylized Autumn set. I stamped the fix in Canyon Clay and nestled it in a nest of leaves stamped in Ripe Avocado ink.
The sentiment is from the new Keep it Simple: From All of Us set. I stamped the sentiment onto a strip of white cardstock and then clipped the words apart to attach them to the card.
This card is created with the new Lucky Break set. I stamped the sentiment in a waterproof black ink and then embossed the wishbone image in clear over the top of it.
I added color with Clean Color markers over the top of the embossed image and the effect is so pretty.
This sympathy card was created with the Fancy Foliage set and coordinating dies. I die cut leaves with the Fancy Foliage Detail die cuts out of Cocoa Bean cardstock and the added the sentiment piece one the top of them.
The leaves around the sentiment are watercolored and then I added a few clear sequins around the branches to finish the card off.
This card has a bit of a different look and feel than the rest of my cards this month, but it was truly a great card to make. I embossed the tea cup from What the Doodle: Tea Time on watercolor paper and then added color with my Clean Color markers.
The sentiment on this card is from the new Inspired: Blessed set and coordinating die.
And finally, a new outfit for Tacy's Dress Up Doll set using the new Dress Up Dolls: Halloween.
I colored the outfit with colored pencils and then blended with some Gamsol on an adhesive sheet. I die cut the outfit from the adhesive sheet and attached them to die cut pieces from a magnetic sheet. Tacy's Dress Up Doll box is filling up!
