introducing ombre sentiments: christmas + more christmas faith

christmas faith

Welcome to day 3 of the Papertrey Ink September release countdown. Today is a group post day and we are sharing projects with the new products that are perfect for sharing your Christmas faith. My new set Christmas Faith happens to be one of them ;)

All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on September 15th, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.

I used my Christmas Faith set along with the new Inspired: Jesus and Shine sets. I die cut the "Jesus" from white cardstock and stamped the shine image in Fresh Snow ink to sit behind it. How great is this Shine set going to be for adding just a little something to highlight an image on a card?! I love how some of the companion sentiments in the Inspired: Jesus set can fit perfectly right in the flourish on the die cut word. Right underneath the completed sentiment I placed a die cut dove that is cut with the new Christmas Faith die in white cardstock. I stamped some greenery for the dove to carry before adhering the die cut dove to the card front.

I had some of the custom stamped background paper that I used on the card I shared on the first day of the countdown that I attached next to the sentiment and dove. The card base is the new Olive Twist color - this one that I know I will be using a ton of!

For this card, I used the wreath from the Twig Wreath set stamped in Classic Kraft and added elements from my Christmas Faith set to it to make a wreath that is just perfect for the holiday season.

I stamped the sentiment from the new A Thrill of Hope set into the center of the wreath with Smokey Shadow ink. There's that new Olive Twist color again!

And finally, a clean and simple card using my new Christmas Faith set. I stamped the doves in Fresh Snow ink onto kraft cardstock and then have them holding the star on a string and a piece of holly between them. I stamped the "oh come let us adore him" sentiment below in True Black ink.

The card front is trimmed up about an inch and then I added a piece of the glittered trim strip that I shared earlier in the countdown to the bottom edge. The card base is once again Olive Twist and so the back of the card shows at the bottom and I stitched across that with some metallic thread.

You can see more new products being debuted today for the September release over at Nichole's blog. From there you can link up to other members of the design team who have new things to share with you today too!

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I will be back very soon with more to share!
