sweet holiday inspirations

Hi everyone and welcome to day 4 of the Papertrey Ink October release countdown. Today is another group post day and we are all sharing projects that have some sort of sweet inspiration for the holidays. I used the new Cozy Christmas set for my project and then I also have a project to share that uses my new Sprig Wreath set.

All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on October 15th, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.

When it gets cold outside, there's nothing better than warm drinks and sweet treats - especially after spending time outside playing in the snow. The vintage thermoses in the new Cozy Christmas set are just perfect for dreaming about these fun winter time activities!

I stamped my thermos on kraft cardstock using Pure Poppy and Scarlet Jewel inks and then did the detail in Fresh Snow and Smokey Shadow. The thermos cup is in the new color Dark Indigo. I added a little steam with a stamp that is part of the Winter Village set - it was perfect!

I stamped a flurry of snowflakes all around the main stamped images with Fresh Snow ink. This card definitely called for some inked edges too!

Here's another card using my new Sprig Wreath set that I also paired with my Christmas Faith set. There are so many possibilities for details on the main wreath when you explore other sets in your collection.

I added holly, little poinsettia flowers, and then scattered snowflakes in Fresh Snow ink all around the wreath.
