beautiful inspiration

Hi everyone and welcome to day 3 of the Papertrey Ink November release countdown. Today is a group post day and we are all sharing projects created with the new Better Together set and a few other beautiful new products.

All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on November 15th, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.

First of all, this set is just a beautiful one for coloring. For this card, I embossed the largest floral image onto watercolor paper with clear embossing powder and then watercolored the embossed image with Clean Color markers and a water brush. I love, love, love this image - it's just so pretty!

The sentiment is added onto the stitched banner from the Tag Sale: Quilted die set and then I put it onto a kraft card base. You definitely don't need to do too many fancy things to your card when you have an image as large and pretty as this one.

Now, if you are not into coloring your images, you can use this set as it is too. I pulled out my Fresh Snow ink and stamped up a background pattern with several of the flower images onto some kraft cardstock.

To keep things quick and easy, I used the largest sentiment from the Better Together set stamped in a black ink and framed it with one of the new Leaf & Sprig Frames. So, SO pretty.

And finally, the flowers in this set are perfect to pair up with your favorite sentiments. I used the new Inspired: Mercy set for the sentiment on this card. I die cut the "Mercy" word from white cardstock and added the companion sentiment stamped around it in True Black ink.

I had so much fun watercoloring the flowers on the first project that I shared, so I watercolored up some more for this card. This time, I die cut out the watercolored flowers with the coordinating Better Together dies and then had them scatter down the right side of the card around the sentiment.
