birthday wrap inspiration

Hi everyone and welcome to day 4 of the Papertrey Ink November release countdown. Today is a group post day and we are all sharing projects to inspire you when wrapping up birthday gifts for a friend or loved one.

All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on November 15th, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.

First up is this card and tag set that I created with the new For You set and coordinating dies. I used the "happy" For You Tag die in kraft cardstock that I layered on a Basic Cut Tag die. I cut the "happy" word from white cardstock and layered it onto the kraft tag die cut. I stamped the companion sentiments below the window opening in the tags with Fresh Snow and True Black inks and then added a few wooden starts sprinkled onto each tag to finish them off.

I added one tag to a white card base that I cut with the new Noted: Scalloped A2 Vertical dies. The other one is added to a gift bag that I made with an envelope. (If you haven't seen this done before, take a look at this quick tutorial that I found: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LVtz42vSaXc ) I added some Spring Moss patterned paper to the front and back of the bag as well as some Spring Moss twill ribbon for the handles.

I created another fun birthday gift bag with the new Wrap it Up dies. I made a bag out of an envelope again and then added the stamped and die cut present to the front of the bag and then just a plain piece of the stamped Berry Sorbet to the back of the bag. I used Berry Sorbet twill ribbon for the handles.

There are some great details on this bag: the great die cut ribbon, cute kraft tag ties to the bag with some twine, and the fun wooden stars sprinkled onto the gift.
