celebrating love: now & then

Welcome to day 3 of the Papertrey Ink December release countdown. Today is a group post day celebrating weddings and anniversaries. I am sharing a project that I created with the new Paper Clippings: Love Story set and my new To Have & To Hold set.

All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on December 15th, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.

I used the "true love" sentiment piece from the Paper Clippings: Love Story set and stamped it in a waterproof black ink so that I could stamp the heart wreath from my new To Have & To Hold set around it. I stamped the wreath and then embossed it with clear embossing powder and did the emboss resist technique to add the green color. I watercolored with Prairie Grass ink refill and then a little Olive Twist ink refill to help pop out the embossed leaves.

I stamped the "happy wedding day" next to the heart wreath. It is meant to be stamped into the book image, but look how sweet it looks like stamped on its own.

I die cut out a bunch of roses and leaves from the To Have & To Hold set to add to the wreath and then I sprinkled a few across the card too. Some stamped hearts in Fine Linen ink finished the card off!

You can see more new products being debuted today for the December release over at Nichole's blog. From there you can link up to other members of the design team who have new things to share with you today too!

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I will be back very soon with more to share!
