feel better inspiration + more to have & to hold

Welcome to day 4 of the Papertrey Ink December release countdown. Today is a group post day to inspire putting together a care package for a loved one who is under the weather or recovering from a surgery and/or illness. I also have a card to share that is created with my new To Have & To Hold set.
All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on December 15th, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.
I think one thing that people appreciate most when they are ill or recovering from something is to know that people are thinking about them. Sending a card is so very nice, but sending a little care package is just something extra special. It doesn't need to be anything expensive or extravagant, just to help your loved one feel a little pampered and bring a little sunshine to them.
I put together this little basket that is perfect for delivering to a friend or loved one when they are under the weather. I included a card, a little tissue box, some new socks, and a sweet little stuffed friend.
The card is created with the new Take it Easy set and the Cozy Bed dies. I made up the bed with white cardstock, Spring Rain cardstock and patterned papers, and Blueberry Sky cardstock.
On the bed are a custom newspaper (you get to choose your headline), a hot water bottle, a crumpled tissue, and a tissue box. I stamped the images and colored them in with my Prismacolor pencils. The Take it Easy set includes so many fun images to choose from so you can customize your bed and the items on it however you want!
The tissue box cover is so perfect (my daughter found it and claimed it already!) I made it with Spring Rain patterned paper that I die cut with the new Tissue Box Cover dies and then tied on the "sending hugs" tag.
The tag features some of the same images that I used on the card so that they coordinate perfectly. The "sending hugs" sentiment is from the new Keep it Simple: Sending Hugs set.
I need to make a few more of the card and tag sets to keep in my stash, that way I will be ready to go when I need a care package put together!
Next up is a card created with my new To Have & To Hold set...
Remember when I mentioned that I had more to share about the To Have & To Hold dies? The die collection features an outside piece so that You can keep the center intact and it also has an inside piece for the wreath so that you can cut the center out. I die cut both the outside and inside of the wreath for this card.
The wreath is stamped in Spring Moss and then I added a some die cut flowers and leaves from the set to the die cut wreath. I stamped some of the tiny flowers in Fresh Snow around the wreath onto the kraft card base and then used another "sending hugs" sentiment stamped in True Black ink from the Keep it Simple: Sending Hugs set below the wreath.
