courage & kindness + ways to say: thank you + cover plate: butterfly hope

Hi everyone! I have some more inspiration to share for the Papertrey Ink March release using my new Courage & Kindness stamp set & dies, Ways to Say: Thank You stamp set & dies, and Cover Plate: Butterfly Hope die.

All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on March 15th, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.

For this first card, I used the 3-step flower cluster that is from the Courage & Kindness set stamped on the coordinating die cut.

I did 2 of the stamped die cut clusters and flipped them for the top and bottom of the card front. I stamped a few extra leaf images right on the card front so they would poke out from behind the main cluster when I attached it to the card front.

Then, I set the sentiment between the two clusters. I used the Ways to Say: Thank You die cut from white cardstock and then stamped the "so sweet of you" sentiment underneath the die cut in black ink. I love how this card came together pretty quickly, but it looks so detailed and flowery!

This next card uses my new Cover Plate: Butterfly Hope die that is design to go with the Butterfly Hope stamp set. Cover plates are a way to put together a card front pretty quickly and this was no exception - even with adding the few details that I did.

I die cut the cover plate from Pale Peony cardstock that I stamped with some polka dots in Fresh Snow ink. Then I die cut the cover plate from Berry Sorbet ink and took just the inner wing pieces and inlaid them in the main die cut piece. I die cut the cover plate again from kraft cardstock and trimmed out the butterfly bodies and adhered them to the main cover plate piece.

The sentiment is from the Butterfly Hope stamp set and I stamped that with black ink onto some polka dot vellum. I like how it adds the sentiment to the card without completely covering the butterfly design.

I added a few tiny flowers stamped in Classic Kraft ink sprinkled around the butterflies along with some sequins for a finishing touch.
