papertrey ink feature: so sweet + carrot treat box dies

butterfly hope + ways to say: thank you die + courage & kindness

Hello everyone! Welcome to the March release countdown at Papertrey Ink. Today I have a few cards to share with you that I created with some of my new stamp sets and dies that are making their debut this month.

All of the new stamp sets and dies that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on March 15th, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.

This first card I have to share is one that I made with my new Butterfly Hope stamp set. Butterfly Hope is a set that includes a butterfly image that you can build with or without an outline using solid and polka dot patterned sections. There is a coordinating die available and Butterfly Hope retails for $15.

For this card, I used stamped the butterflies using the solid sections and the polka dot pattern for the inner wing section. You will notice that some of the butterflies are a bit bolder and stand out a bit more. Those are stamped with Pale Peony, Hawaiian Shores, and Cocoa Bean inks. The butterflies that are lighter are stamped with Sweet Blush, Aqua Mist, and Classic Kraft inks. The softer colored butterflies seem to fall back a bit and give the stamped image on the card some nice depth.

The sentiment on the card is die cut from kraft cardstock using my new Ways to Say: Thank You die. It coordinates with my new Ways to Say: Thank You stamp set. The set includes a collection of sentiments giving you a bunch of different ways to express a certain sentiment and then there is a coordinating larger die of the main sentiment from the set. You will be seeing more of this series throughout the year. I can never have enough sentiments - that is for sure!

This card is created with my new Courage & Kindness set. I designed this set around the sentiment "have courage & be kind". This was something that I just loved and connected with from the recent real life Cinderella movie. I knew that I wanted to include it in a stamp set someday. The set includes some fun and whimsical flower building images as well as sentiments that you can mix and match to create the perfect custom sentiment. Courage & Kindness retails for $24 and there are coordinating dies available.

I stamped the floral background using the flower building images in the set in tones of purple on kraft cardstock. I added in  Fresh Snow flowers and leaves in Prairie Grass and Olive Twist ink. How perfect is this set for creating your own custom floral patterned paper for you projects?

The sentiment is stamped with Fresh Snow ink on a tag that is finished off with an eyelet and some twine.

The scalloped border on the bottom edge of the card was actually created with the Heart Border die. I just flipped it upside down and adhered it behind the stamped cardstock so that just the tops of the hearts show and create the perfect little scalloped border. If you peek back at the first card that I shared today, you will see that I did the same thing there too.
