papertrey ink throwback thursday: favor it box 9 dies

Hi everyone and welcome to a Papertrey Ink Throwback Thursday! Today a few of us on the design team are revisiting the Favor it Box 9 die collection.

Favoritbox9dies

With Easter on its way, this is the perfect die collection to revisit. I love the sweet shaker style basket and made up two of the smaller version to fill with a few sweet treats for my girls. You can make the basket as it with just some cardstock, or dive into your stamp collection and customize it with lots of special little details.

I wanted to give my baskets a wooden look and so I stamped the kraft cardstock die cut pieces with the wooden background image from the Background Basics: Farm & Barn stamp set in Cocoa Bean ink.

You need some sort of brad to fasten the body of the basket together and I had some pretty ones that I had been holding on to in my stash. I also added a fun polka dot border at the top of the basket with some cardstock that I had stamped with polka dots in Fresh Snow ink. One basket has Pale Peony on it and the other one has Ocean Tides on it.

I can't wait to fill these up for my girls for Easter. Wouldn't a whole bunch of these be just the cutest at each place setting for Easter dinner?
