papertrey ink July release: fruit salad dies + sentiments

The Papertrey Ink team is spreading out the rest of our release projects so you can continue to enjoy inspiration from the new products that made their debut this month.

Today, I have a project to share that I created with the new Fruit Salad dies and Fruit Salad Sentiments stamp set. All of the new products I am sharing today are available to purchase right now at Papertrey Ink.

Cherries are one of my favorite fruits and so I had to do a project with the Fruit Salad: Cherries dies. I die cut the stem and leaves from Prairie Grass cardstock and then die cut the cherries from Pure Poppy cardstock that I had applied some adhesive to. I added glitter to the cherries for a fun sparkly effect.

The background of the card front is stamped with polka dots from the Polka Dot Basics II stamp set in Classic Kraft ink. I had masked off the scalloped edge of the card front with some Post-it notes before I stamped the polka dots.

I stamped the sentiment with Fresh Snow ink and then added a few clear drops around that to finish off the card.
