papertrey ink July release: on the wagon + mountain majesty

The Papertrey Ink team is spreading out the rest of our release projects so you can continue to enjoy inspiration from the new products that made their debut this month.

Today, I have a few projects to share using the new On the Wagon and Mountain Majesty stamp sets. All of the new products I am sharing today are available to purchase right now at Papertrey Ink.

First up is a card using the new On the Wagon stamp set. I stamped the car onto Kraft cardstock and then cut it out with the new Mix & Mat: Postal die. I love the sort of vintage postcard look that this set combined with the Mix & Mat: Postal die has.

I stamped the sentiment in Fresh Snow and black inks and spattered some inks around the stamped car image.

On the card base, I used the World Map stamp to create a background. I inked up the stamp with Olive Twist ink and then just randomly pressed parts of the inked stamp around the edge of the card front. It was the perfect background effect for this card.

This card is created with the new Mountain Majesty stamp set. I stamped the mountains onto Kraft cardstock with Cocoa Bean and Smokey Shadow inks. The snow on the mountains is Fresh Snow ink and the trees are stamped first with Fresh Snow ink and then Prairie Grass and Olive Twist inks over the top.

I die cut the mountains out with the Mix & Mat: Postal dies and again the combination has a very vintage postcard look.

I stamped the sentiment centered right over the top of the mountains. The sentiment is from the new Keep it Simple: Okay stamp set.

The card base is kraft cardstock that I stamped with a wooden background in Cocoa Bean ink. I added a mat of Linen cardstock behind the main stamped piece to pop it just a bit on the card front.
