traveler's journal: december + december typed words

Hi everyone and welcome to another day of the Papertrey Ink October release countdown! Today I have another layout to share using the mini kit that I put together with my new Traveler's Journal: December and Traveler's Journal: December Typed Words stamp sets.

All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on October 15th, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.

We went to visit a Christmas Tree farm and they had horse drawn carriage rides and we definitely had to take advantage of that. This page is a picture of my girls on the carriage and you can just tell that my Tacy is having way too much fun.

I added a strip of patterned paper featuring the tree image in the Traveler's Journal: December stamp set that I stamped for the mini kit to the bottom of the page. I added some of the tiny word stickers that I stamped onto the photo and stamped "'tis the season" from the Ways to Say: Merry Christmas stamp set above the photo. I tucked a silver snowflake in the corner of the page to finish it off.

This page features a photo of me and my husband on the carriage ride that I put into one of the frames I stamped and die cut for the kit and a photo of the horses that pulled the carriage. I ran the page through my typewriter to type the journaling at the bottom and added the date with a date stamp.

I added a tab to the side of the page that I added a stamped snowflake and snowflake eyelet to and also added another silver snowflake to the page.

If you were looking carefully, you probably noticed that I used the same layout on this spread as I did on the one I shared yesterday - just flipped around! You don't have to reinvent the wheel each time you are doing a layout. It will speed up your process and it looks good too.
