papertrey ink november release: flower power + window works + ways to say: get well soon

Hi everyone and welcome to another dat of the Papertrey Ink November release countdown! Today, I have a few projects to share that are created with the new Flower Power stamp set and Window Works die collection. My projects also include my new Ways to Say: Get Well Soon stamp set that is also making its debut this month.

All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on November 15th, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.

The Ways to Say series is a set that gives you multiple ways to express a certain sentiment. This set features many ways to express the “get well soon” sentiment. The sentiments are perfect for adding to cards or creating tags to attach to a special gift or message to a friend or loved one. The Ways to Say: Just For You stamp set retails for $5 and the coordinating die retails for $3.

I created a flower garden to send a little cheer to someone who is under the weather. The flowers are stamped with the new Flower Power stamp set. I used an autumn color scheme for my flower designs and did some color blending to get different shading effects on the flowers.

I stamped the "get well soon" sentiment in Cocoa Bean ink above the flowers and then cut out the card front with the Noted: Scalloped A2 die and attached it to a complete card base that I also cut out with the die. To finish off the card I tied a bit of cotton twine around the top of the card.

Next is another get well card using the "healing wishes" sentiment from the new Ways to Say: Get Well Soon stamp set.

I cut a card base with the Noted: Scalloped A1 die from Fresh Snow linen cardstock and cut a window in the front of the card with the square Window Works die. I stamped a design inside the card so that it would peek through the window when the card is closed - I just made a light pencil dots at each corner of the window so I knew where the opening would show.

Here's a peek at what the inside of the card looks like. I stamped two full flowers and then stamped the "rest, relax, recover" sentiment near the bottom of the card.

To finish off the card, I tied some green ribbon I had in my stash around the side of the card.
