papertrey ink november release: this just in + sunburst stencils + direct messages

Hi everyone and welcome to another dat of the Papertrey Ink November release countdown! Today, I have a few projects to share that I created with the new This Just In stamp set, Sunburst stencils, and Direct Messages stamp set.

All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on November 15th, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.

I created this first card with the new This Jut In stamp set, coordinating die, and Sunburst stencil.

I die cut the microphone shape out of some Kraft cardstock and then stamped on the elements to build the microphone and add the sentiment to make this a perfect card to give for a graduation (it will be awesome to build my stash and have cards like this ready to go when I need them!)

The background of the card is done with one of the Starburst stencils. I used some modeling paste through the stencil and sprinkled some gold glitter onto it while it was still wet - I am just loving the effect of this technique! When everything was dry, I added the microphone to the center and attached the piece to a Honey Nut card base. I few wooden stars sprinkled around the microphone was the perfect finishing touch!

I kept the same color scheme as the first card to create this fun congratulations card using the new Direct Messages and Keep it Simple: Congratulations stamp sets.

I stamped the "congratulations" in black ink on a piece of Kraft cardstock and then added the "hip hip hooray" sentiment above that. I stamped the "hip hip hooray" sentiment in Honey Nut ink and die cut it with the coordinating die.

The balloon is die cut from Dark Indigo cardstock using the Shaker Shapes: Balloon die and I added the string die cut with the Balloon Strings die.
