papertrey ink december 2017 release - quoted: honeycomb + year of psalms: december

Hi everyone and welcome to another day of the Papertrey Ink December release countdown! Today I have a few projects to share today  created with the Quoted: Honeycomb and Year of Psalms: December stamp sets that are making their debut this month.

All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on December 15th, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.

I used the new Stencil Basics: Hexagons stencils to create the background on a piece of Honey Nut cardstock. I applied modeling paste through the stencil and then added a bit of glitter. There are a few bees stamped around the stenciled hexagons with Honey Nut ink.

The sentiment is stamped on a piece of white cardstock that I applied Honey Nut ink ink onto. I die cut the circle using the Berry Wreath Tag die that I trimmed the hang tag piece from.

This next card features the new Year of Psalms: December set. I personally love this particular verse!

I embossed the psalm on some watercolor paper with clear embossing powder. Then I watercolored around the embossed sentiment with Pinefeather, Royal Velvet, and True Black inks for a sort of night sky effect.

The stamped piece it attached to a Soft Stone card base. I rounded the bottom edge of the front with one of the new Round Off Edgers dies. I bit of twine tied around the card front and some glittery stars finished off the card.
