papertrey ink december release - huggable mini kits + pencil arrows + fun loving' + matchbook medley
December 13, 2017
Hi everyone and welcome to another day of the Papertrey Ink December release countdown! Today, I have several projects to share with you using lots of new products making their debuts for this month's release.
All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on December 15th, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.
First, I used the new Huggables: Bear and Monkey Kits to embellish some cute matchbook style cards that were created with the new Matchbook Medley dies.
I used just the faces from the Huggables kits. I inked up some white cardstock with Cocoa Bean ink for the main face bases and then added the detail piece die cut from Kraft cardstock. I stamped the face details and then added the finished head pieces onto hearts that I die cut with a new You Have My Heart die.
The sentiments on the front bottom flap are from the new Everyday Affection stamp set. I also added a few glittery hearts that I die cut with the tiny heart die from the new You Have My Heart die collection. Inside the matchbook, I tucked a little treat (Ghirardelli square fit great in these!) I am saving these for my girls for Valentine's Day!

Fun pencils are always in high demand at my house and how fun are these all dressed up with the new Pencil Arrows die cuts? I die cut the pieces from Pure Poppy cardstock and then slid the pieces onto the pencils. I added some tags that are stamped with sentiments from my new Ways to Say: I Love You stamp set and include hearts created with You Have My Heart die cuts.

And here is one more set of matchbook cards that I embellished with stamped and die cut images from the new Fun Lovin' stamp set. You will see a few more tiny glittered hearts here and I added a heart border using a die that is a part of the Matchbook Medley die collection.
Treats can tuck right under the bottom flap and you can either staple them in or add a bit of adhesive to hold them into place.
