Welcome to day 4 of the Papertrey Ink January release countdown. Today I have a card to share that is created with my new Birthday Balloons collection.
It’s time to party and what better to decorate than a bunch of balloons? The balloons in the Birthday Balloons set have several coordinating patterns that also work with the coordinating die and stencils. Sprinkle on some confetti and glitter and you are ready to celebrate in style! Birthday Balloons retails for $15, the Birthday Balloons die retails for $3, and the Birthday Balloons stencils (set of 2) retails for $6
Birthday Strings is a stamp set that will add a fun twist to your birthday projects. These sentiments are designed to be used with the Birthday Balloons stamp set and coordinating die as a string for the balloon images and die cuts. Birthday Strings retails for $5.
All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on January 15th, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.
On this card, I used the Birthday Balloons stencil to create the rows of balloons at the top of the card and then added the pattern overlay images from the Birthday Balloons stamp set. I used masking to layer the rows together. The Birthday Balloons die is the exact size as the stamps and stencils so it is so easy to create a mask using the die cut from masking paper (I use post-it notes!)
The sentiment from the Birthday Strings stamp set is designed to hang from the balloons, but the sentiments can be used as a regular sentiment on your card too. I stamped it onto a Kraft cardstock notched banner and added a few fun pops of color peeking out from behind the sentiment banner.
Spatters and confetti were the finishing touches on this card.
