papertrey ink january 2018 release - lucky scratch collection

Luckyscratch1-1-hnichols

Welcome to day 3 of the Papertrey Ink January release countdown. Today, I have projects to share that are created with the new Lucky Scratch collection.

All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on January 15th, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.

How fun is this new collection that is designed to be used with scratch off paper to create interactive cards. The sets can all be used on their own as well without adding the scratch off paper element.

This first project is a ticket card to give a surprise gift/prize. These would be great for a party or to give a sort of coupon book or collection of envelopes of prizes to a loved one.

The scratch off paper covers the "movie night" prize for this ticket card - it's too much fun to scratch off the circle and reveal the prize! There are so many great prize combinations in the Lucky Scratch: Prize Pack stamp set. I used the new Bitty Big: Green Parakeet paper for the die cut "lucky" word and made a coordinating envelope from Green Parakeet cardstock.

The Lucky Scratch: Baby stamp set has everything you need to make up the most unique baby announcements and cards. This next ticket card is perfect for a baby gender reveal announcement.

I embossed the announcement banner and "he or she..." sentiment with white embossing powder so they would stand out on the Kraft cardstock base.

I love the embossing elements included in the Lucky Scratch die collection. The dotted frame is just so great to frame up elements on your project and the scalloped circle is the perfect place to set the scratch off circle into. I also included some balloons from the Birthday Balloons collection die cut from Spring Rain and Sweet Blush Bitty Big papers with the strings stamped in Fresh Snow ink.
