papertrey ink july release - banners & pennants + banner die collection

Welcome to day 2 of the Papertrey Ink July release countdown. Today I have several project to share with you that are created with my new Banners & Pennants stamp set and Banner die collection.

You can find all of the details about these new products HERE.

All of the new products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on July 15th, 10PM ET at Papertrey Ink.

A few of the sentiments in my new Banners and Pennants set coordinate with the previously release Pennant Flag die collection. I used the "be awesome" sentiment on the pennant for this card. I stamped the sentiment with a waterproof ink onto a piece of fabric that is die cut with the pennant die. I did use a fabric stabilizer so that I could die cut through the fabric easily. (If you don't have fabric, you can mimic the look by using linen cardstock)

I attached the die cut fabric pennant onto a cardstock pennant to make it a bit more sturdy and then added the pennant detail on the side that is die cut from Kraft cardstock.

For the card background, I stamped the sentiment repeatedly with Fresh Snow ink onto Honey Nut cardstock. I added some starbursts in the background design with Fresh Snow and Honey Nut inks.

The pennant is popped up just a bit from the card front with some foam squares and I added a few sketched star die cuts to finish it off.
