papertrey ink august release - halloween!
August 10, 2018
Welcome to day 1 of the Papertrey Ink August release countdown. Today, I have some fun Halloween projects to share with you using my new Grins & Ghouls and A Bit More: Grins & Ghouls sets. I also used the new Corner Adorner: August, Sentiment Staples: Halloween, and Scared Silly sets. There is just so much Halloween goodness coming your way for this August release!
You can find all of the details about these new products HERE.
All of the new products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on August 15th, 10PM ET at Papertrey Ink.
I made up some Halloween tags using my new Grins & Ghouls set along with the Corner Adorner: August and Sentiment Staples: Halloween sets. Grins & Ghouls features three Halloween friends to stamp on your projects: a pumpkin, a skeleton, and a ghost - I used a different friend on each tag. There are outline images as well as the coordinating solid images to color in the outlines or use on their own. Coordinating dies for the Halloween images are also available.
The tag base is the Berry Wreath tag that I cut from Canyon Clay and Smokey Shadow cardstock. I stamped the spiderweb borders on each edge of the tags using the new Corner Adorner: August set. I also stamped a few stars from the Grins & Ghouls set in the background.
The sentiments on the tags are a combination made from sentiments and words from the Grins & Ghouls set and the Sentiment Staples: Halloween set. It was fun to mix and match the different sayings together to customize the sentiments for the tags! I might have even cut some of the sentiments into pieces to make them work for this project...

Next is a fun Halloween card using the A Bit More: Grins & Ghouls set along with the new Scared Silly stamp set. The A Bit More: Grins & Ghouls set includes this jumbo "trick or treat" sentiment that I stamped in black ink onto a piece of kraft cardstock.
Then I had way to much fun building/stamping this silly pair of monsters using the new Scared Silly stamp set. The set includes so many fun monster parts - you can let your imagination run wild with the different possible combinations!
The background of the card is stamped with stars from the Grins & Ghouls stamp set in Fresh Snow ink and then I added a few wooden stars to complete the card. How fun would this silly pair of monsters be showing up in your mailbox?
