Welcome to day 3 of the Papertrey Ink August release countdown. Today, I have a few projects to share with you. One card is made with the new Text & Texture: Leaves stamp set and then new Words to Live By: Gratitude stamp set. The other card is made with the new Seasonal Border: Autumn set and the new Shape Shifters: Circle 3 dies.

You can find all of the details about these new products HERE.

All of the new products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on August 15th, 10PM ET at Papertrey Ink.

I have been just loving all of the new fall product that is debuting this month! I started with the sentiment for this card and embossed the "gratitude" word with clear embossing powder onto a piece of white cardstock. Then, I took that pretty fall leaves background and stamped it right over the top of the embossed word with Honey Nut for the base image and Canyon Clay for the detail image over the top. Where the word was embossed, it resisted the ink color.

Then I went back with an ink blending tool and added some more Honey Nut ink around the sentiment and onto a few of the leaves. I stamped the coordinating sentiment in black ink under the embossed word. The edges of the stamped piece are roughed up a bit and then I attached it to a kraft card base. The twine is tied around the card front and adds that perfect finishing touch.

For this card I created a fall wreath using the Seasonal Borders: Autumn set and one of the dies in the new Shape Shifters: Circle 3 die collection. I impressed the dotted circle die onto a piece of kraft cardstock and then used that as a guide for forming the wreath design. I stamped the leaves and berries all around the circle in a pretty palette of fall colors.

After the wreath was finished, I stamped the "thank you" sentiment is black ink inside of the wreath opening. I added a few finishing touches: a few pieces of confetti and a stitched strip along the bottom of the card front.
