papertrey ink september release - bold borders: yuletide + words to live by: joyful + corner adorner: september
September 12, 2018
Welcome to day 3 of the Papertrey Ink September release countdown. I have a card to share that is created with the new Words to Live By: Joyful stamps & dies and the new Bold Borders: Yuletide dies. I have another card to share that is created with the new Corner Adorner: September stamp set and Pierced Feature Frames: Oval dies.
You can find all of the details about these new products HERE.
All of the new products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on September 15th, 10PM ET at Papertrey Ink.
The Bold Borders: Yuletide frame die is so pretty and just my style with all of the leaves and berries. I die cut the frame from watercolor paper and then used inks to watercolor the different elements. I used a little bit of liquid glue on my fingers and dabbed it along the leaves and berries and then poured some glitter onto them for a bit of sparkle.
The sentiment in the center is created with the new Words to Live By: Joyful stamps and die. I die cut the "joyful" word from watercolor paper and then stamped the coordinating sentiment underneath the die cut word with black ink.

I had some fun stamping this tangle of Christmas lights on this card - I think that is the ONLY time a tangle of lights is fun...! I die cut and oval using the new Pierced Feature Frame dies from some Rustic White cardstock and then stamped the lights on the one side. The light string is Olive Twist and then the lights are stamped with Scarlet Jewel, Honey Nut, Ripe Avocado, and Enchanted Evening inks.
For the card background I stamped more lights in Fresh Snow ink onto Kraft cardstock. You just can't go wrong with stamping white ink on Kraft cardstock for a neutral background.
The sentiment is from the new Penned Elegance: Christmas stamp set that you will learn more about later in the countdown and then I finished the card off with a few clear sequins scattered down the side of the card.
