IMG_4222

Welcome to day 1 of the Papertrey Ink September release countdown. Today I have a few projects to share with you. One that I created with the new Merry Mug stamp set & dies and Sentiment Staples: Christmas stamp set. And another that is created with the new Sweet Stitching products and Say it Simply: You & Yours die.

You can find all of the details about these new products HERE.

All of the new products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on September 15th, 10PM ET at Papertrey Ink.

When I saw this cute mug shape with the big pile of whip cream for the top, making cute shaped tags was the first thing that came to my mind! I stamped the mug in Vintage Jadeite ink and added the candy cane stripe in Pure Poppy ink. The whip cream piece is stamped with Fresh Snow ink on kraft cardstock and then I added sprinkles with Cocoa Bean ink and a bit of chunky glitter.

I cut the "Merry Christmas" sentiment apart and stamped just the "merry" onto one end of the smaller Double Ended Banners die. It fit perfectly so I could fold it over and loop it through the mug handle. A hole punch, silver eyelet, and a bit of Pure Poppy twine finished off this cute tag. I am going to start a box to toss tags into as I create them this fall so when it's time to wrap during the holidays, they will all be in one place and ready to go!

I used the new Sweet Stitching stamp set and impression plate to create a great background for this next card that I am sharing. If you use the impression plate with a shim and die cutting sandwich in your die cut machine like I did here with some Pure Poppy cardstock, it will cut out all of the diamond shapes.

I layered that piece onto a piece of white cardstock and then stamped a stitched image from the Sweet Stitching stamp set into the openings with Prairie Grass ink. I rotated the stitched image in each opening and doing just that added a lot of interest and texture to my design. I stamped more stitched images with Fresh Snow throughout the background pattern as well.

The sentiment on the card is die cut from kraft cardstock using the new Say it Simply: You & Yours die. I love how beautiful these Say it Simply sentiments are and how they really take center stage on a project. I added a few gold sequins through the sentiment to finish the card off.
