throwback thursday: autumn abundance
September 20, 2018
It's Throwback Thursday at Papertrey Ink and today we are revisiting the Autumn Abundance stamp set.
I have always adored the Autumn Abundance stamp set. The outline images are perfect for coloring and the sweet bouquets are wonderful for autumn themed projects. I spent a little time watercoloring an autumn card to share with you today.
I embossed the bouquet of leaves with clear embossing powder repeatedly on a piece of watercolor paper. I watercolored the center image with multiple colors of inks. Then I watercolored over the background and other embossed images with Honey Nut ink. I will never get tired of watercoloring clear embossed images, it's just my favorite!
I stamped the "autumn blessings" sentiment with black ink next to the main image and then added the stamped piece to a kraft card base. You could easily recreate this card design with any of the bouquet images in the set and you can change the sentiment for many different occasions.
