throwback thursday - harvest berries

It's Throwback Thursday at Papertrey Ink and today we are revisiting the Harvest Berries stamp set.

The Harvest Berries set has the prettiest leaves and I thought how appropriate they would be to use on a sympathy card. The leaves are perfect when you don't want anything to flowery, but yet is still elegant at the same time

Sympathy cards are something I am always in need of having on hand and so I made multiples of the same design. When you have all of your supplies out, it really don't take that long to make more than one.

I embossed the leaves from the Harvest Berries stamp set with clear embossing paper on some watercolor paper and then watercolored around the embossed images with Honey Nut and Olive Twist inks. I did a little ink spattering and added some berries stamped with Honey Nut ink.

The sentiment is from the Words of Comfort stamp set and I stamped it in black ink and it is also embossed with clear embossing powder.

I die cut the stamped piece with the largest rectangle from the Noted: Simply Stitched A2 Vertical dies, leaving a even border around all of the edges. I attached everything onto a kraft card base and then popped up the center piece with some foam tape.
