Welcome to day 1 of the Papertrey Ink November release countdown. Today I have a card to share that I created with the new Enchanted Forest stamp set and Nesting Basics: Rectangles die collection.

You can find all of the details about these new products HERE.

All of the new products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on November 15th, 10PM ET at Papertrey Ink.

The Enchanted Forest set is just right up my alley and I had fun building a forest across a piece of kraft cardstock using several greens from the Papertrey Ink collection: Olive Twist, Prairie Grass, Simply Chartreuese, Pinefeather, and New Leaf.

After I stamped the trees, I added a flurry of snowflakes with Fresh Snow ink. I spattered some Cocoa Bean and Fresh Snow inks over the stamped image after all the stamping was done. The "'tis the season" sentiment is also a part of the Enchanted Forest stamp set and I added that above the trees with some black ink.

I used the new Nesting Basics: Rectangles die collection to cut out the center portion of the stamped piece. I popped that up just a bit on the card front and attached the outer frame down flat to the card front. It's a simple technique that adds a lot of detail to your card design.

I also added a few pieces of chunky snowflake glitter (that I found in the Target dollar spot!) across the forest scene. It added just a bit of shimmer and shine to the card.
