papertrey ink - a farewell

papertrey ink november release - expressions of empathy + corner adorner: november + bold borders: polka dot + words to live by: caring

Welcome to day 5 of the Papertrey Ink November release countdown. Today I have a few projects to share with you. One is created with the new Expressions of Empathy and Corner Adorner stamp sets and the other is created with the new Words to Live By stamp set & dies and the new Bold Borders: Polka Dot dies.

You can find all of the details about these new products HERE.

All of the new products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on November 15th, 10PM ET at Papertrey Ink.

I thought of using a sun in some way with the sunburst image from the Corner Adorner: November set. I pulled out the Stitched Sunshine die and paired it with the Stitched Rainbow die to create this card. The sunburst is stamped in the corner with Summer Sunrise ink and then I added the circle and trimmed it so it was also tucked into the corner and shining out over the rainbow image.

The Expressions of Empathy stamp set has a collection of sentiments that are just wonderful and fill a gap in my sentiment collection. Because sometimes, it really is hard to come up with the right way to say something. I found myself thinking how much I would use so many of the sentiments in the set. I used one here on this card stamped right underneath the rainbow.

For this next card, I used the Bold Borders: Polka Dot die cut as a stencil. I inked colors through the die cut to create the gradation of Aqua Mist, Green Parakeet, and Summer Sunrise inks. Then I added some glitter paste on top of the inked colors, again through the stencil, and I could not be more happy with the results! I would love to try this technique again with some of the other Bold Borders dies.

The sentiment is from the new Words to Live By: Caring step set and coordinating die. I die cut the "caring" word several times from some Kraft cardstock and stacked them up to make the word pop just a little more. I dotted the "i" with the little heart image in the set and then added some glittered die cut hearts that I created with the Heart Prints dies, glitter, and Hawaiian Shores cardstock.

This turned out to be such a pretty and sparkly card to send such a sweet message!
