taylored expressions - december release day!

TE-dec18-day4

Welcome to release day at Taylored Expressions! All of the new products that we have been sharing over the last several days are now available to purchase in the Taylored Expressions store.

I have a few more projects to share that I created with some of the new December products. I have a card to share using products from the Framed Roses Bundle and also with the Lots of Love stencil and Foil It - Love papers.

This card turned out to be one of my favorites from the release. I had so much fun putting this one together and the dies in the Framed Roses Bundle are just beautiful.

First, I embossed the Framed Roses Cutting Plate on a piece of Toffee cardstock and then added the Framed Script - Love die cut from Sugar Cube cardstock to the center of the embossed frame.

For the flowers and leaves, I took some watercolor cardstock and painted several pieces in Cherry Pop, Guava, and Peapod liquid watercolors. I added the Shimmer liquid watercolor to each color so the flowers and leaves have a pretty sparkle to them. I die cut the flowers and leaves with the Bloomers 9 dies and assembled them together for the card. I arranged the flowers around the love frame and just love how they turned out!

This card would be beautiful for a wedding, anniversary, or to give to a special someone in your life.

For this card, I had fun with some embossing paste and the Lot of Love stencil. I colored white embossing paste with some Cherry Pop liquid watercolor and then spread it through the stencil on some Fruit Punch cardstock. The dimensional tone on tone look is a lot of fun!

I have never foiled before and so it was fun for me to play around with doing that for the first time! I bought a laminator and did the foiling using that. I used gold foil on the Foil - It Love papers and then die cut hearts out of the foiled papers. I layered them behind the "love" word that I die cut using the Framed Script - Love die and then trimmed out from the frame. A few pieces of gold confetti were the finishing touch on this card.
