taylored expressions - quick & easy halloween tags

Hey, everyone! I have a fun Halloween project to share with you today using the new Flip the Script - Witch Boot Tag set from the August release at Taylored Expressions. This project is also featured today on the Taylored Expressions blog.

The Flip the Script - Witch Boot Tag set includes a stamp set with two sentiment images that fit onto the coordinating with boot die cut. There is also a small circle die included to punch holes in your tags if you don't have a hole punch to use.

You could keep things really quick and easy by using just plain cardstock and ink to stamp the tags, but I wanted to add some more color and style to this project. I used Candy Corn, Lime Zest, Plum Punch, and Earl Gray inks to create different multicolored looks on the tags.

I used blender brushes to create my own custom patterned paper using the inks and also inked up the images with more than one ink pad on the stamps to create a multi-colored, gradient effect.

In a short amount of time, I had a pile of cute tags that I can attach to Halloween treats!
