the greetery - harvest home
August 20, 2019
Hey everyone! It's the day 2 of the August release countdown at The Greetery and I have a tag project to share with you today using the new Harvest Home stamps and coordinating dies.
All of the new products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on Friday, August 23rd, 10AM ET at The Greetery.
When I saw the leaf base that Betsy designed as part of the Harvest Home collection, I knew I wanted to use it for a tag base. The leaves are die cut from kraft colored cardstock and I stamped the farm details directly onto them. I added the barn popped up just a bit with some foam tape to give it just a bit of dimension on the tag.
The "give thanks" sentiment originally has an "&" attached to it, but I trimmed that off to use just the "give thanks" part. If I want to use the "&" it's pretty easy to line up with the rest of the stamp on a block.
I think these tags will be perfect for a number of things... I could tie one to a hostess or thank you gift, I could use the tag on a card front to send a thank you, I could use the tags as a part of a place setting for Thanksgiving or a harvest dinner by tying it onto a small favor or around a napkin, and more!
