Now onto the projects that I have to share today:

This first card is created with the new Backstory - Birthday Background stamp. I created a blended background using Guava, Candy Corn, Pineapple inks with the blender brushes and then embossed the background over the top with white embossing powder.

I added the "yay!" word using the new Caps Lock - Yay die that I cut from several layers of from Sugar Cube cardstock. I stacked up the layers so the word would pop up a bit more on the card.  Instead of using the dot on the bottom of the exclamation point, I added a wooden star that I had in my craft stash. I used the new Simple Strips - Birthday for the sentiment that I added underneath the "yay!" word. The Simple Strips - Birthday stamp set works with the original Simple Strips die & I love adding these quick and easy sentiments to my projects.

This next card is created with my new Birthday Basics stamp set and Confetti Toss stencil. The Birthday Basics set features lots of fun birthday images to use on your birthday themed projects along with several birthday sentiments. I stamped the presents and balloons from the set in Guava, Candy Corn, and Pineapple inks and then trimmed them out to use on my card.

I added them to a background that I created by blending Guava and Candy Corn inks using blender brushes. While the background was not quite dry, I applied Sea Salt ink through the Confetti Toss stencil with a blender brush. The Sea Salt ink lifts the ink and creates a very cool effect! I added a few stamped pieces of confetti from the Birthday Basics set to finish off the background design and you probably noticed that I used another sentiment from the Simple Strips - Birthday stamp too!
