Hey everyone! It's the second day of the November mini release countdown at The Greetery and I have a few projects to share using new products that are making their debut this month. I love the woodland feel of the projects that I created to share with you today and I am so excited about those adorable pinecones!

All of the new products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on Friday, November 22nd, 10AM ET at The Greetery. That's tomorrow!

If you heard a crash several weeks back and weren't sure where it came from... that was me, falling over when I saw the new BotaniCuts Pine Bough die collection. I am head over heels in love with these cute little pinecones and can't wait to create more with them!

For this project, I used liquid watercolors to create my own custom colors on watercolor cardstock and then die cut the different elements from the papers. I did a little inking using Sugar Cube ink (white pigment ink) on the pinecone pieces and had so much fun assembling everything together.

For a bit of extra winter shimmer, I added some chunky glitter to the pine cones and branches. The sentiment is from the previously released Sentiment Suite: Christmas stamp set and is stamped in Sugar Cube ink. The pinecones are something I can see myself using throughout the year, just like most everything from this release!

Supplies:

  • STAMPS, DIES, & STENCILS:BotaniCuts Pine Bough dies (The Greetery), Sentiment Suite: Christmas stamp set (The Greetery)
  • INK: Sugar Cube (Taylored Expressions)
  • PAPER: Sugar Cube (Taylored Expressions), Toffee (Taylored Expressions), watercolor cardstock (Taylored Expressions)
  • OTHER: Chocolate Truffle liquid watercolor (Taylored Expressions), Peapod liquid watercolor (Taylored Expressions), coarse crystal glitter

This next card is created with the new Winter Sketches stamp set. This is such a pretty set and I love the pine and berry branches. I stamped the main branch from the set multiple times on the lower part of the card front. Using the stamping guides that are included with the sets makes multiple step stamping so easy and makes you into an instant artist!

The sentiment is from the previously released Tree Trimmings stamp set. I stamped it on a strip of watercolor cardstock that was torn on one end and then stitched it down with my sewing machine on the other end for a pretty and rustic look. A few sequins for a bit of sparkle was the finishing touch.

Supplies:

  • STAMPS, DIES, & STENCILS: Winter Sketches stamp set (The Greetery), Tree Trimmings stamp set (The Greetery)
  • INK: Jet Black Archival (Ranger), Sugar Cube (Taylored Expressions), Chocolate Truffle (Taylored Expressions), Avocado (Taylored Expressions), Cherry Pop (Taylored Expressions), Mulled Wine (Taylored Expressions)
  • PAPER: Sugar Cube (Taylored Expressions), Toffee (Taylored Expressions), watercolor cardstock (Taylored Expressions)
  • OTHER: Chocolate Truffle liquid watercolor (Taylored Expressions), Snow Flurries sequins (Taylored Expressions)
