taylored expressions - inky fingers valentine tags with my girls!

Hi everyone! Have a fun Valentine project to share today that I did with my girls, Tacy and Hana. This project is also featured over on the Taylored Expressions blog. We created tags using the Inky Fingers - Valentine stamp set and attached them to treat bags that the girls can share with friends for Valentine's Day!

Even though my girls are older, it’s still fun to create projects like this! Hana and Tacy love sharing little gifts like these with her friends at school. I also love that some of the great tools that are out there to help make crafting easier for all of us, enable people with special needs to participate as well! I love how using a MISTI, made it easy for my Tacy to stamp the bugs and critters for our Valentines!

The tags on the treat bags are created with the Heart Stacklets die collection. We die cut the larger heart shape on a folded piece of cardstock and had the edge of the die overlap the fold so that it created a small heart card that opens up. The cute bugs and critters from the Inky Fingers – Valentine stamp set are on the front of the tags and the sentiments are stamped on the inside.

If you would like to do this project with the kids (no matter the age!) in your life, check out the list below for the supplies that you need:

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you are inspired to do a some Valentine crafting with the special people in your life! I'll be back soon with more crafty inspiration to share!
