taylored expressions - january release day!

Hi everyone! Today is release day at Taylored Expressions and all of the new products for the January release are available to purchase right now! I have more projects to share for the next few days, but they wanted to get the products ready to go so you can place your order ASAP for Valentine's Day crafting.

Today, I have projects to share that I created with the new Big Grumpy - Cat collection, the new Loved collection, and you will see some peeks of a few of my new products too!

I have thoroughly enjoyed the new Big Grumpy collection and love the new Big Grumpy - Cat too! One thing that I love about Taylored Expressions in general is that they don't take themselves too seriously and they include a bit of fun and snark into products that keep all of us laughing!

I gave Big Grumpy a whole bunch of heart balloons to hold and as you can see, he looks pretty happy about it... NOT! I colored everything with Copic markers and then added some glitter to the balloons with a glue pen for a bit of sparkle. Big Grumpy is still complaining about the glitter in his fur...

The background is stenciled with Sugar Cube ink onto Toffee cardstock using my new Heart to Heart stencil and then I spattered more Sugar Cube ink onto the background using a water brush. This card makes me laugh and I think it might be the one I give to Chad for Valentine's Day! *wink*

This next card is created with the Loved collection. I stamped the Loved Background stamp with Sugar Cube ink onto a piece of Toffee cardstock. The colored hearts are stamped and embossed with white embossing powder onto watercolor cardstock, painted with liquid watercolor, and cut out with the coordinating Loved Cutting Plate die. I love how the die can cut out a whole bunch of hearts at one time! I popped up just a few scattered across the card.

The sentiment is created with my new Shot Through the Heart die collection and Follow Your Heart Sentiments stamp set. I die cut the "valentine" arrow three times and adhered them stacked together so the word pops up a bit from the card front. I added the "be mine" stamped with Oreo ink from the Follow Your Hearts Sentiments stamp set. The stamp set is clear and so it's so easy to see and place the stamps exactly where you want them on your project.
