the greetery - budding beauties: spring + fresh air

Hi, everyone! Welcome to the last product reveal day for the March release at The Greetery! Today, I have projects to share with you using the new Fresh Air stamps & dies, Fresh Air: Window Frame dies, and Budding Beauties: Spring stamps & dies.

First up today is a pretty in pink card that I created with the new Budding Beauties: Spring stamps & dies. I stamped the florals from the set onto light pink cardstock. The tulips are stamped with dark pink & burgundy inks and the stems are stamped in two shades of green ink. The cherry blossoms are stamped in two shades of pink inks and the stems are stamped with a dark brown ink.

You might think that stamping on different shades of cardstock will mess with your colors, but sometimes it actually enhances the color! Don't be afraid to try out different cardstock colors for the base of your project (ahem, like kraft!)

I added the stamped florals down the side of another piece of pink cardstock to create a pretty border and then trimmed off any extra that extended beyond the piece. The sentiment is from the Sketchbook: Roses stamp set and is stamped with black ink. I added a few sequins scattered through the flowers and around the sentiment to finish the card off.

I really love how the pink cardstock gives this card such a fresh and light feeling. It's perfect for spring!

This card is created with the Fresh Air stamps & dies. I used the Fresh Air: Window Frame dies to cut out the opening on the kraft cardstock and the added all the details. I started with the window frame, added the shutters, added the florals, stamped the brick texture, added the die cut window frame, and then the curtain. I popped up the panel on a white card base and then popped up the flower pot so it sits perfectly in the window.

It was fun to watch this stamped and die cut scene come to life! The scene kind of fits with what going on in the world right now too, right? There are some great sentiments in the set. I chose the 'hello there' and stamped it in black ink right under the window.
