the greetery - top down day + silver lining + painterly stripes
March 24, 2020
Hi, everyone! Welcome to the first product reveal day for the March release at The Greetery! Today, I have projects to share using the new Top Down Day stamps & dies, the new Silver Lining dies, and the new Paintery Stripes stamp.
All of the new products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on Friday, March 27th, 10AM ET at The Greetery.
The Top Down Day set features this cute car image with its top down, a few fun images to load the car with, and a bunch of great coordinating sentiments. Most of the images in the set have an outline version and solid fills and that's what I used here to create this fun birthday card! I loaded the car with the cute driver and a bunch of balloons that are blowing in the wind as she drives to deliver them for a birthday surprise!
The scalloped cloudy piece behind the car was created with the new Silver Lining dies. I cut the die from the top of a piece of white cardstock and then added the car and sentiment onto it popped up just a bit with some foam squares. I adhered the piece to a kraft card base that is stamped with the new Painterly Stripes stamp using white ink. I added a bit of sparkle for a finishing touch by scattering some rhinestones around the car and sentiment.
Supplies:
- STAMPS, DIES, & STENCILS: Top Down Day stamps & dies (The Greetery), Silver Lining dies (The Greetery), Paintery Stripes stamp (the Greetery)
- INK: Jet Black Archival (Ranger), Sugar Cube (Taylored Expressions), Cookie Monster (Taylored Expressions), Blue Raspberry (Taylored Expressions), Confetti Cake (Taylored Expressions), Pineapple (Taylored Expressions), Guava (Taylored Expressions), Granny Smith (Taylored Expressions)
- PAPER: Classic Crest Solar White (Neenah), Toffee (Taylored Expressions)
- OTHER: Bits & Pieces - White Rhinestones (Taylored Expressions), 3D foam squares (Scrapbook Adhesives)
For this card, I stamped the car image in a rainbow of colors using just the solid fill images. I love having the options of stamping the images in the set with or without the outline!
I added the cars to a kraft card base that I stamped with the Painterly Stripes stamp using white ink. To stamp the grid design, I stamped once, rotated the cardstock 90 degrees, and stamped again. The sentiment is stamped on white cardstock, cut out with the coordinating die, and popped up just a bit on the card front with some foam squares.
