Hi, everyone! There's a new teacher appreciation & graduation product release this week at Taylored Expressions and I have a few projects to share with you today. I have a new stamp set making it's debut this week called Tag Team - Teacher and I can't wait to share it with you.

All of the new products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on April 28th (tomorrow!), 9AM CT at Taylored Expressions.

My first projects are created with my new Tag Team - Teacher stamp set. This set is a clear set and is designed to coordinate with the previously released Tag Team dies. The Tag Team sets are designed to enable you to create a whole lot of stamped tags quickly and easily. You might remember the Tag Team - Christmas kit that was released last November and the Tag Team - Easter & Tag Team - Alpha that were released this past February.

The Tag Team - Teacher set includes patterned block designed to stamp on either end of the Tag Team die cuts, sentiments, and images to decorate your tags. This set is school themed to thank teachers. This year teachers have had to re-invent how school looks and functions and having my girls home for distance learning has made me more thankful for their teachers than ever! It's definitely time to send our appreciation to them. Tie tags to gift cards and treats or use the set to make teacher thank you cards, treat boxes, and more!

I took a few of the tags I created and used them on cards. The cards have backgrounds that I stamped using images from the Tag Team - Teacher stamp set. I stamped the images using Sugar Cube and Earl Gray inks on Earl Gray cardstock. The tags are popped up on the card fronts with foam squares and then I stamped a coordinating sentiment directly onto the card front with Oreo ink.

Using a MISTI to set up your tags stamping and also stamping the card backgrounds makes it so easy to mass produce. I actually have a few more cards that I need to create. The end of the school year is quickly approaching (believe it or not!) and I so I need to get busy on those!

The class of 2020 is having to experience a lack of graduation traditions. It's so important that we celebrate and congratulate these graduates! Handmade cards are a great way to do that because it's taking that extra bit of time to create something extra special.

For these cards I used the new {Boxed In} Basics 2020 Grad cards along with the new Flip the Script - Grad stamp & die combo set and The Tassel stamp set and coordinating die. I did some foiling on the cards using a star stencil that I created myself with the star dies from the Banner Year - 4th of July stamp & die combo set.

Stop by the Taylored Expressions blog tomorrow to watch a process video for these cards!

I added some ink blending to the graduation cards using the largest rectangle in the Masking Stencils - rectangles collection, Sea Salt ink, and a blender brush. Adding just that bit of shading really adds a nice polished look to the cards.

To add the stars to the cards, I created a stencil by die cutting stars from a strip of cardstock. I applied Transfer Gel Duo through the stencil, let it dry completely, and then foiled the stars with silver or gold foil with my laminating machine. The graduation caps are stamped with Oreo ink onto Sugar Cube cardstock and cut out with their coordinating dies. I used the cap from the new Flip the Script - Grad stamp & die combo set and from The Tassel stamp set and coordinating die. The caps are popped up just a bit on the card fronts with foam squares.

I did all of my cards in a pretty neutral color scheme of black, gray, and metallic, but you could customize your cards to match the graduates school colors or even use their favorite colors.
