Hey, everyone! Today, I have a pile of projects to share with you using the new Frosty Kit from Taylored Expressions. This is a kit that I illustrated/designed and I hope that you will love it as much as I do!
Here is everything included in the Frosty Kit - which retails for $65:
- Frosty Background Cling & Clear Combo stamp set
- Frosty's Head die
- Frosty's Body die
- Frosty stencil
- Winter Wishes Clearly Crafty stamp set
- Sentiment Strip Duo die collection
- Bits & Pieces - Snowflakes
- 6 Custom Envelope Seals
- 6 Colored Envelopes
- Packaged in a zippered pouch with a custom kit label
A few items will be available to purchase separately from the kit: Frosty's Head die, Bits & Pieces - Snowflakes, and extra envelope seals.
First up is a card created with the Frosty Background stamp. I stamped it in Oreo ink on Sugar Cube cardstock and then added the color details for the nose, cheeks, and hat bands using the included clear stamps that come with the Frosty Background Cling & Clear stamp set.
Once I had all of the details added, I used the coordinating Frosty stencil to add the snowflakes to the background. The stencil adds the snowflakes all around the Frosty images perfectly. I stenciled the snowflakes with Confetti Cake ink and then added sparkle with Stickles Moondust Glitter Gel.
I added the sentiments using the Winter Wishes stamp set included in the Frosty Kit. I stamped the sentiments onto one of the Sentiment Strip Duo dies using Versmark ink and then embossed them in white. You can trim down the die cut strips to a shorter size in your die cut machine to customize them for the different sentiment lengths. After you die cut the strip, slide it down in the die to the length you want and then run just the end of the die into your die cut machine to trim it down.
I popped up several of the sentiment strips on the snowman background and added a few snowflake sequins for a bit of sparkle to finish off this card!
For this next card, I stamped the Frosty Background with Sugar Cube ink onto Toffee cardstock to create the background and added the snowflakes using Toffee ink. I die cut out the snowman head images that I had stamped onto Sugar Cube cardstock using the Frosty's Head die and popped them up over the background on Toffee cardstock.
I added bodies to a few of the snowman heads using the image from the clear set that is a part of the Frosty Background Cling & Clear stamp set and added them to tags. The tags are cut out with the Tag Stacklets 2 die collection from Toffee cardstock that is stamped and stenciled the same as the card background.
The sentiments from the Winter Wishes stamp set are stamped in Versamark ink and embossed in white on the Sentiment Strip Duo dies. I set up a template in my MISTI and stamped up a whole pile so they are ready for projects. Then I can just grab and go to create!
Here's one last project that I created with the Frosty Kit - a shaker card! I stamped the Frosty Background onto Toffee cardstock using Sugar Cube ink and then added the colored details with the clear stamps for a fun look.
Shaker cards are just SO EASY when you use the TE Foam Sticky Strips! I added them to the back of a Stitched Frame Stacklets die cut that I added window acetate to and adhered that piece over a pile of the Bits & Pieces - Snowflakes and Vanilla Creme Shaker Fillings that I had put onto the stamped background.
I added a snowman and sentiment strip onto the top of the shaker box and added everything to a Cherry Pop card base. So fun!
