taylored expressions - happy fall y'all!

Hey, everyone! This week is the autumn release at Taylored Expressions! I have projects to share with you today that feature a few new products that I designed: the Fall Foliage Stamp & Stencil Combo set and the Tag Team - Thanksgiving stamp set.

All of the new products that I am sharing today are available to purchase RIGHT NOW at Taylored Expressions!

This first set of cards is created with my new Fall Foliage Stamp & Stencil Combo set. The set includes a red rubber background stamp of the leaf veins and three stencils with etched guides to add the different leaf designs in various colors. I stamped the background image in Chocolate Truffle ink onto Toffee cardstock and then added leaves in various fall color tones. One is blended with Avocado and Olive inks, a second is blended with Pineapple and Candy Corn inks, and the third is blended with Sweet Potato Pie and Pumpkin inks.

Once I had my background complete, I added a stenciled square using the smaller square stencil in the Masking Stencils - Squares set with Toffee ink with my Blender Brushes. I went around the edges with Chocolate Truffle ink to add extra definition to the square shape.

The stenciled square was the perfect landing spot for the sentiments on the cards that are stamped with the new Handlettered Thanksgiving stamp set with Chocolate Truffle ink on Sugar Cube cardstock and cut out with the coordinating dies. I cut out a few extra of the die cuts to stack them up and pop the sentiment up a bit on the card.

I created another background on Sugar Cube cardstock and cut out a few of the leaves to add around the sentiment to finish the cards off. These cards are ready to deliver a little bit of autumn to a loved one's mailbox.

This card is featured today over on the Taylored Expressions Blog along with a video tutorial - make sure to check it out!

Next up is a few cute pumpkin pouches created with the Felt Pumpkin Pouch Kit along with tags that are created with my new Tag Team - Thanksgiving stamp set. The felt pumpkins are perfect for Thanksgiving table place settings and you can fill them up with fall treats or a small gift.

The kit includes everything you need to make two pumpkin pouches: 2 orange felt circles with pre-punched holes for creating a drawstring, four felt leaves, and burlap twine. There will be a video tutorial coming your way on the Taylored Expressions Blog this Wednesday to show you how to assemble these cute pouches - it's pretty quick and easy.

I used the Tag Team - Thanksgiving stamp set with the Tag Team dies to stamp a pile of cute tags. I set up a template in my MISTI, stamped the pattern blocks on the end of the tags, added the sentiments, and then added various fall themed images to the tags - all are a part of the Tag Team - Thanksgiving set. To create a bit more polished look, I layered the tags over Toffee cardstock that is cut out with a Stitched Banner Stacklets die.

The finishing touch on the tags is orange eyelets from my stash and burlap twine to tie them onto the pumpkin pouches. You could also tie the tags to a Thanksgiving gift or around a napkin at a place setting.
